InsureCalcPro — insurecalcpro.com  •  Last Updated: May 18, 2025  •  Effective Date: May 18, 2025

Important Educational Disclaimer

InsureCalcPro is a free educational tool only. Nothing on this website constitutes financial advice, insurance advice, tax advice, or any other form of professional advice. The calculator results are estimates for informational purposes and should not be the sole basis for purchasing any insurance product. Always consult a licensed insurance professional or Certified Financial Planner (CFP) before making coverage decisions.

Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms,” “Agreement”) carefully before using the website located at insurecalcpro.com (the “Site”) operated by InsureCalcPro (“us,” “we,” or “our”). Your access to and use of the Site is conditioned upon your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. By accessing or using the Site in any manner, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site.

1. Nature of the Service

InsureCalcPro provides a free, browser-based life insurance needs calculator built upon the DIME (Debt, Income, Mortgage, Education) framework. The Site is designed as an educational and informational resource intended to help users develop a general understanding of their potential life insurance coverage needs.

All calculations performed by the tool are estimates based solely on the numerical inputs provided by the user. The outputs are mathematical in nature and do not account for individual risk factors, health history, existing assets, investment returns, Social Security survivor benefits, tax implications, or the full complexity of personal financial planning.

InsureCalcPro does not sell, broker, underwrite, or recommend any specific insurance product, company, or policy. We are not an insurance agency, broker, carrier, or financial advisor. We receive no compensation from insurance companies in connection with the calculator results.

2. Not Financial or Insurance Advice

⚠ This is a critical section. Please read it carefully.

THE INFORMATION, TOOLS, CONTENT, AND CALCULATOR RESULTS PROVIDED ON THIS SITE ARE FOR GENERAL EDUCATIONAL AND INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THEY DO NOT CONSTITUTE AND MUST NOT BE CONSTRUED AS FINANCIAL ADVICE, INVESTMENT ADVICE, INSURANCE ADVICE, TAX ADVICE, LEGAL ADVICE, OR ANY OTHER TYPE OF PROFESSIONAL ADVICE.

The results generated by the DIME calculator represent a simplified mathematical estimate. Life insurance needs are highly individual and depend on numerous variables that this tool cannot assess, including but not limited to:

  • Your current health status and medical history, which affect insurability and premiums
  • Existing life insurance coverage through employers or individually held policies
  • Liquid savings, investment portfolios, and retirement accounts that could substitute for coverage
  • Social Security survivor benefits available to your spouse and dependents
  • The income and financial independence of a surviving spouse
  • Estate planning goals, tax planning strategies, and business succession needs
  • Inflation rates and investment return assumptions over the coverage period

We strongly recommend that you consult with a licensed, qualified insurance professional and/or a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) before purchasing any life insurance product or making any financial decision based on information from this Site.

3. Eligibility and Acceptance

By using the Site, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age, that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms, and that your use of the Site complies with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.

If you are using the Site on behalf of a company, organization, or other entity, you represent that you are authorized to bind that entity to these Terms, and “you” refers to both you individually and the entity.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Site for personal, non-commercial, informational purposes as described in these Terms. No other rights are granted, and no rights are transferred to you through your use of the Site.

6. Third-Party Advertising

The Site may display advertisements served by Google AdSense and potentially other third-party advertising networks. These advertisements are provided by independent third parties. Your interactions with third-party advertisements — including clicking on ads, visiting advertiser websites, or purchasing advertised products or services — are solely between you and the advertiser. InsureCalcPro is not a party to those transactions and accepts no liability for any loss or damage of any sort arising from such interactions.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT, TOOLS, AND INFORMATION PROVIDED HEREIN ARE OFFERED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, INSURECALCPRO EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement

  • Any warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, timeliness, or suitability of any content or calculator results
  • Any warranty that the calculator results will meet your specific financial needs or expectations

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL INSURECALCPRO, ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, LICENSORS, OR SERVICE PROVIDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses
  • Financial decisions made in reliance on the calculator results or any content on the Site
  • Inability to access or use the Site, or interruption of service
  • Any errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies in the content or calculator outputs
  • Unauthorized access to or use of our servers or any personal information stored therein

These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory on which the claim is based — whether contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or otherwise — and even if InsureCalcPro has been advised of the possibility of such damages. In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, our liability shall be limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless InsureCalcPro and its owners, officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and service providers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Site, including any financial decisions made in reliance on the calculator results.

10. Links to Third-Party Websites

The Site may contain links to third-party websites for reference or informational purposes. These links are provided as a convenience only. InsureCalcPro does not endorse, monitor, or have any control over these external websites and is not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or policies. Your access to any linked website is at your own risk, and you should review the terms and privacy policies of those websites before using them.

11. Modifications to the Site and Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Site — or any feature or portion thereof — at any time without notice or liability. We also reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time by posting the revised Terms on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date.

Your continued use of the Site after any modification to these Terms constitutes your binding acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically to stay informed of any changes.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association’s Consumer Arbitration Rules.

You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not as part of a class, consolidated, or representative action. If for any reason a claim proceeds in court rather than in arbitration, you waive any right to a jury trial.

13. Severability and Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining Terms will otherwise remain in full force and effect.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and InsureCalcPro with respect to your use of the Site and supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings.
